Mr. S~tcliffe motioned it be installed, seconded by Mr. Finck, and voted unanimously. TOWN COUNSEL: FarrellProperty A letter was received from Town Counsel regarding a matter brought up last Fall by Atty. Willis regarding Farrell property adjacent to the Town Tard.. It seems that it bas been alleged that in improving the Town Yard, a right of way ~had been encroached upon. Mr. Brasseurhad informed Town Counsel that the encroachment csz be quickly and inexpensively corrected. Mr. Finck motioned that Ralph'Brasseur be requested to attend the next meeting oft he Boar8 and also Atty. Willis, if he so desires. It was seconded by Mr. Sutcliffe, and voted unanimously. LUMBERM~NSMUTUAL CASUALTY COl: An inspection certificate regarding motors at pumping stations was received from Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Co. Said notification was referred to the Board of Public Works. An "Order" was received from F.C.C. regarding radio station WCAP: stating that a further review of the subject is advisable. Letter was placed on file. BOARD OF PUblIC WORKS: American Legion Beach A letter was received from Superin'tendent Duffy of the Board of Public Works stating that the facilities at Stevens Pon~ will,be ready for use on June 24th. STREET SIGNS: A:list of street signs submitted by Chief Lawlor was approved by the Board upon motion of Mr. F&m~k and seconded by Mr. ~IT~. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m. upon motion of Er. Finck, seconded by Mr. Sutcliffe. Nay 29, 1961 The regular meeting of the Board. of Selectmen was held on this date with all members present and Chairman Finneran presiding. Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. LAWP~NCE GAS CO~ANY: Two excavations were requested by the Gas Company, one for Belmont Street and the oth ~ for Sargent Street. Mr. Ira Carty. Highway Surveyor, had refused to sign the petitions because he felt that streets were not being put back in proper condi- tion. Mr. Carty was reached by telephone during the discussion an~ he stated that he ~ould sign no more petitions until Bay State Road was repaired. Upon motion of Mr. Finck, seconded by Mr. Sutcliffe, it was unanimously voted to notify the Lawrence Gas Company that the petitions would be held up until Bay State Roed'l is returned to its original condition as per Ira Carty's recommendation. JOINT POLE PETITIONS: Chickering Road and Farnum Street Joint Pole Petitions were received for the above-mentioned streets. Hearing was set for June 12th at 7:30 p.m. upon motion of Mr. Sutcliffe, seconded by Nr. Ftnck, and voted unanimously. TREE REMOVAL PETITION: On the petition of Richard Shellnut, 114 South Bradford Street, hearing date was set for June ~, 1961, at 7:30 p.m. Tree has been properly posted by the Tree Warden o JOINT POLE PETITIONS: Marbleridge Road and also Great Pond Rd., Osgood St., and Sutton St. On the foregoing petitions, hearing was set for June 12th at 7:30 p.m. upon motion of Mr. Finck, seconded by Mr. Sutcliffe, and voted unanimously. HIGHWAY DEPARTN~NT: A letter was received from the Highway Department regarding our letter of May 23rd regarding the complaint of Mr. Charles Perocchi of 428 Johnson Street, stating that
