Acopy of the letter was sent to ~r. Bingham. ~R~SIGNATION: William C. Lafond, part-time custodian of the Town Building, resigned because of pressure of other duties. After voting to accept his resignation, Selectmen Finck made a motion that George Boyle, 148 Water Street, be appointed ~o take Mr. Lafond's place. The motion was seconded by Chairman Finneran, ~r. He suggested Carl Lindfors that residents make up a petition to have the street accepted as a public way. Lawrence H. Stabley, Jr., 26 Hemlock Street and other residents of that area~drainage complaint: Mr. Cyr. reported his survey of the land behind the high school was responsible during the Spring thaws for the bad draining condition. He suggested a system of drains to benefit the fields, Hemlock St. an~ Spruce Street at s cost of $6,815. A more eleborate drainage system to 380/furnish additional protection to Beech, Walnut and Parker Streets would cost an estimated $10,-
