ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES C0~TROL COM~SSION: The Board of Selectmen was notified that the ABC would hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 21, 1961 at 11:00 A.M. on the appeal of Mrs. Emily Murphy for a renewal of her wine and malt beverage license. A motion was made by Mr. Sutcliffe that ~2ewn Counsel, A. attend the hearing. It was seconded by Mr. Finneran, Chairman. TG~N BUILDING CL0~ING: The motiOn wasm~de by Chairman Finneran and secOnded by?~r. Sutcliffe that the Selectmen's Office and Welfare Department close down at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 22, 1961, because cf the Christmas Holidays. The other departments were to be notified that they also woul~ close if they so desired. SPECZALNEET~G: A motion was made be Mr. Sutcltffe, seconded by Mr. Finneran, that a special Selectmen's meeting be held on Friday, December 22, 1961, at 5:00 P.M. because of Guistmas falling on Monday, the usual Seledtmen's Meeting night. BIDS FOR ANNUAL TOWN REPORT PRINTING: The Board of Selectmen voted to .award the contract to print 1,400 copies of the Annual Town Report to the only bidder, Town Printing, 52Main Street, Andover., with a price'of$5.~O a page by. offset process. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (STATE) Letter from Frank Giles, CommissiOner of Public Safety, cautioning local licensing boards against licensing pinball machines. INQUIRY: Mr. John Hayes, Quincy, Mass. sent a letter of inquiry on floridation of water supply. SE~ECTM~N RALPH E. FINCK: Mr. Finck expressed his deep appreciation and thanks to all his friends and the Town Employ- ees for their many expressions of sympathy with flowers and Mass Cards for his late father.
