LA--CE GAS LTGHT COMPANY: - Petition "to excavate in street at 80 Sutton Hill Rd. for gas service for Arthur Pernokes granted. e~OE AIRPOR2 CC~MISSI~: asking plan for proposed playground on the airport land received. The plans have been dF requested by the Board. PUBLIC HOUSING ADMINSITi~ITON: Letter received b~ the Board re Federally aided housing program. Proclamation received by the Board from the Town of Fairhavem, Mass.. C~LAINT: John De, soo, 38 Turnpike Street, appeared to ask the Board that something be done about the snow condition on the "grass" sidewalk that e~sts between Waverly Road and Peters Street on Turnpike Street. This sidewalk is not plowed after a snowstorm, he said, and children going down the hill to catch the school bus must walk in the street. ~lthough the street is a state highway, the Board voted unanimously to have the highway surveyor's crew shovel out the as it is not feasible to do it with sidewalk pXows.
