COTUIT STREET COMPIAINT: A meeting with the Selectmen, several residents of Cotutt Street, and Mr. Robert J~ ~urke, and Arthur Redmond, real estate man i and contractor of' hemes on said street, was held. Mr. Redmand stated he had put street in reasonably good condition b~t the residents disagreed and claimed their money given to Redmond for that purpose had not been put to the proper surfacing of the street. They want Redmond to put in the necessary drains so that street will not be washed out every spring and' that it will be in the condition necessary for street acceptance.' The matter was tabled for future study until next Monday Meeting. ROUTE 125-ROUTE 133 ~%~EIC PROBLEM: Mr. Howard Thompson and Mr. Sidney Coleman registered a complaint that the stretch of highway between Charles Steak House and Western Electric Company was being used as a 4-lane highway in- stead of a 2-lane road with a breakdown ~an~. It was voted to. write Mr. Harold F. MacWiLlfams, District Highway Engineer in Danvers for a clarification of the proper use of this raad and : '. eliminate a serious traffic hazard. of Porter & Desmond Movers appeared before the Board and stated that he was the decision of the town of Beverly Selectmen re permission to mote the Diner .into that :~. town. In the meantime, he said he would contact the owner relative, to moving the Diner to the town dump area temporarily. COURT: Mrs. M~rtha J. Peterson, 127 High Street, was dr4wn for Jury duty for May 7th du%y at Superior Court in Salem, Mass. APPOINTMENTS: 'ARTHUR DRUMMO)~ WAS UNANIMOUSLY voted associate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals; Mrs. iMarJorte Kittredge, ConserVation Committee; and John B. INVITATI~S; Invitations were received by the Board from the North Andover Post 216a and LadLes Auxiliary to "attend their Joint installation. Also from the Mass. Association of Relief Officers for theLr :7~th Anniversar2~, and the Chambercof Commerce Diamond Jnbilee Annual Meeting Dinner. Mr. Oakes will attend the veterans affair and the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Finneran, w~ll be present at the ~amber of Co,nerce affair. CONTRACT FOR PAETING TOWN BOILDING: The contract for the above-mentioned was awarded to Frank DeRosa who submitted the lowest bid of $625. ~he .other bidders were notified of the Board's decision. FARRELL DUMP: '" Mr. Thomas Farrell, 351 Boxford Street, was invited to appear before the Board at'their April meeting to answer complaints pertaininE to the disorderly condition of his land and the steps he proposes to take to eliminate the nuisance. Reports were asked.from the B6erd of Health, Chief Lawlor, Chiaf Daw, and Charles Foster, Building Inspector after they had conducted an in- vestigation. LOUIS P.
