A certificate of corporation was sent for. approval of the Board and the Chief of Police. Pet-
ition.of A. Goebel, Jr., Donald F. Smith, and Donald X. Burtt under the name.of Tolle Lege
Association ,~of Phi Kappa Theta, Luc. The matter was referred to the Chief of Police, J. Lawlor
for investiga%ion and report.
L~CE GAS 0GtPANY:
Two petitions for excavations on Sutton Hill Rd. by Joseph Williams and Joseph Ippolitte were
approved by the Board.
STATE HOUSE:
p invltation was received by the Selectmen to attend Municipal Administrators' Day. The Board
make every effort to attend. The Date set wes January 1~, 1963.

Thank y~u" notes were sent to the Selec~ments Secretary, Alice Letarte, thanking her and the
Board for the courtesy extended them during their visit to the Town Building on December 18,
from Congressman William Bates and his secretary, Miss Carolyn Standley.
A ~happy, healthy and prosperous New Year was wished everyone by the three Selectmen. They also
highly co~muanded the police department in a~-ehonding thieves broke into the Coolidg,
and two other places last week.

Selectmen Cakes requested that Mr. Caputo amd Delaney of State Traffic Division be'contacted
and invited to meet with the Chief of Police and Selectmen regarding the placing of the new ~peed
Limit' signs and also to decide on best lona~ on for radar ~mrning signs.

A letter was received by:the Selectmen regarding .improved street lighting in the vicinity of thet
Western Electric Company because of pedestrians crossing the road. A meeting was tentative ly
arranged for 3:30 p.m., Friday, January 11, 1963 with Mr. Shaughnessey, ~ief Lawlor, Clarence
~hapman, Electric Co,,.~any official and the three Selectmen. Note: Western Electric Company

Mr. McEvoy of the Recreational CoSncil announced plans that G~ogans Field would be flooded for
