Warrant approved as submitted. CHAPTER 90: Notice was received of the Chapter 90 allotment from the Dept. of Public Works, the Board voted to refer same to the Highway Surveyor. STREET EXGHTS: Notice was received by the Board of the installation of a street light on pole 5308, on Autran Avenue. C.M.V.R.P.B.CONMISSION: Notice was received of North Andover's expense share for the above-named, the amount, $998.58, for the year, 1969. N~ POLICE STATION: The dispute between Fred Delisio, Contractor for ths nswpolic~ station and Walsh, plumber, was res~2ved at a meeting attended by the above-named and Selectman Arthur Xirk. ANDR~N COFFIN: The Board was officially notified that Andrew Coffin, Town Insurance Advisor, had ed his insurance business to the Doherty Insurance Company. Mr. Coffin's letter stated his appreciation for the support the Selectman gave him during the many years he was in business Mr. Coffin, in turn, thronghhis efforts,had saved the' Town quite aha mount of money his diligence directed to the town's insurance policies. The Board voted to send him a letter of thanks and appreciation for his unselfish and extenuous efforts on behalf of the tcw~. TOWN REPORTBIDS: The Bid for the printing of the Town Report was awarded to Town PiubntingCo. of Andov~r,~ the lowest bidder. ~ ~ '/'I' LAND TAXING DANAGE~:: Selectman Finneranmade a motion, approved by Selectman Duffy, to approved the $1000. award for land damages on Salem Street to F. Kozdras, et al, upon receipt of a release by Mr. and Nrs. Kozdras. DONOVAN CASE: The Board of Selectmen Voted unanimously not to authorized appeal of the Donovan Case. A reques~ from Mrs. Fife to have Lisa Lane blocked off for coasting by children was to Chief Lawlor for his recommendation. SAFETY REQUIRENENTS~ Safety requirements set up by theChief of Police, Joseph Lawlor, was voted to be sent Mr. Chase of the State DPW. Alice M. The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmem'was held on this date with all members present, Chairman Kirk presiding. The Warra~ was approved as submitted. - SNOW ENE~GENCY APPROVAL': ~ A letter from Director of Accounts, Arthur H. MacEinnon, approved payment of bills incur~ed~ by the snow removal emergencies in December, 1968 in the amount of $5,549.31. PLANNING BOARD VACANCY: A letter from William Chepulis, Planning Board Chairman, advised of a vacancy /~n the Plann. ing Board and stated the Board .had received two applications to fill said vacancy. They were John Ncnterio, Salem Street and Robert Maurer, 37 Court Street. The Selectmen voted to'meet ~ith the Planning Board on this matter on Wednesday, January 22, at ?P.M. RESIGNATION: ~' A letter and copy of his resignation from the Planning Board was received by the Selectmen from A~torney WtlliamB. Dully, Jr., recently elected to the B card of Selectmen to fill vacancy left by Selectman Fred'P. Cakes untimely death in September, 1968, NOTIFICATION: A letter was voted to.be sent to the Massachusett's Selectmen Association advising them of Attorney Duffy's election to the Board of Selectmen in North Andover.
