The War. r. an.t. wa.s approved as submitted. The Board voted to open the Warrant for the Annual Town ~eetmng. Opened, December 8, 1969, at 7:30 P.M ..... Closes, January 12, 1970, at 9:00 P.M. JUROR: James H. Peabody, 13 Concord Street, was drawn for Jury duty for Superior Criminal Court at Salem, January 5, 1970. ELECTRIC & Twz.W. PHONE COMPANY PETITIONS: A hearing ~as set for December 22, 1969, at 7:30 p.m. for two petitions submitted for a conduit location on Sutton and Ashland Streets and a pole location on Great Pond Read, 392' s-e. of Essex St. A petition to relocate a joint pole on 0sgood, 60' from Holt Rd. was approved by the Board, no hearing was necessary. GAS ExcAVATIONS: A p~.tition was approved by the Board to excavate for gas services at 100 Belmont Street. RESERVE SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD: Upon the recommendation of Safety Officer Dushame, the 'Board appointed C. Susan Northham, 2 Turnpike Street, a reserve school cr6ssing guard. BONDING: From the Dept. of Corporation and Tar~tion, notice was received by tee Board of the amount of bonds required for the Tax Collector, Town Treasurer and Town Clerk. PAP~ING BAN REQUEST: The Board received a request that parking be banned ~n Osgood Street, front of the Barnard property. The requesm was referred to the Chief of Police, J. W. Lawlor. HUD ASSISTANCE: A letter and brochure from HUD re park and playground federa assistance was referze~'t6..th~, Public Works Dept., Planning Board and Capital Out I~y Committee. VOC SCHOOL BUDGET: The Voc Schoo2 budget received by the Board was referred to the Advisory Board and Capital Out Lay Committee. CLA~K STREET ADJUDICATION: The Board voted to have the hearing on the above-named-matter on December 22, 1969, and a letter of recommendation from the Planning Board on the acceptance was voted to have a copy sent to the Public Works and Highway Surveyor. FEDERAL AID GPANTS FOR TOWNROADS: The Board received, in duplicate, two copies of agreement between town and state from the Mass. Dept. of Public Works. The Boardvoted to refer the agreement~o Town Councel for perusal before signing it. PERSONNEL BOARD: The Board received notice of amendments contained in petitions previously no~ included in original list sen~ by the Personnel Board. Clerk CER~IFIEATE OF INCORPORATION: Two references were submitted by Chief Lawlor in regard to the corporation petitions of the Raytheon Flying Club and the Gr. Law. Ecumenical Area Ninistry, Inc. They we~approved. WM. MURPHY: William Murphy, 776 Dale Street, sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to the Board for the prompt attention he received on his request for better street lighting and a storm drain.
