MEMBER PRESENT
Richard Nardella, John Draper, John Simons, Joseph Mahoney, Richard Rowen, Associate
Member and Karen H.P. Nelson, Director of Planning & Community Development.
815 CHESTNUT STREET - SITE PLAN REVIEW
The purpose of the Special Meeting was to expedite the Site Plan Review Peimit for Watts
Industries to commence construction of their proposed addition.
The Board members reviewed the prepared draft for Watts Industries and further discussed the
following:
Lighting
The lighting on the exterior of the existing building was discussed during
the meeting for the previous permit and has not been addressed. The
Board wants these lights on the building to be a downcast style with
recessed bulbs. (See Condition #13)
Parking
The Board would prefer to not add additional parking flit is not needed.
The Board requested that the applicent conduct a parking survey
indicating the need for the additional spaces. (See Condition #16)
Screening
The Board is m favor of requiring a ycer-round vegetation buffer to the
residential neighborhood. All members are in favor of additional
screening. (See Condition #15)
The Board agreed to take a site visit to view the lighting and existing parking. It was agreed
that additional tree plantings were necessary along the tree line.
