McEvoy with C~mirman Joseph A. Guthrie presiding. The minutes and warrant were approved as submitted. POLE LOCATIONS & CONDUITS: Approved: Pole relocation on Salem St.. Set for hearings, June 21, 1976: Underground cable on Marbleridge ~d. Joint pole on Marbleridge Rd. - Conduit on Marbleridge ~d. GAS E~CAVATIONS: Approved: Excavations on Johnson St. and Mablin Ave. to insta2l gas services. CAT SCANNER: Selectmen approved request to send letter supporting Bon Secours Hospital's application to ~ve CAT Scanner for service to Gr. Lawrence Community. Letter sent. T~N MEETING QUORUM: Letter from Tram Counsel advised Board that any amendment to the town by-laws could be pre- sented at a Special To~rn Meeting and/or annual Town Meeting. TOWN Letter of agreement as to his residence at the town farm received from Dr. Holland. Referred to Town Counsel for his files and future reference. FI~IGHT ERS: Letter voted to be sent to Firefighters advising that the Selectmen will not be able to call a Special Town Meeting for their fact finding sums. Advisory Board does not approve money Article. MUNICIPAL FACILITIES C0~ITTEE: Members of the above-named committee met with the Board requesting that $30,000. be transferred from the Town Garage account to the Highway Dept. budget for constraction of the salt and sand shed; shed to be constructed under a force account. Construction of this facility wil2 be under the authorization of the Facility Co~nittee and the Selectmen. PLAYG~0~ND INST~CTORS: Board approved names submitted by the Recreation Council for this summer's playground instructors and added two names to the sub list, James Dewhirst and Nancy Detora. PERSONNEL BOARD APPTS. Due to a report due, the Selectmen reappointed Anthony Barry and Paul Dobson to a 3-yr. term on the Personnel Board and ~Yalter Kohl ~no will fill his mm vacancy. TOW~I C~JNSEL APPT.: Date for annual appointment of Town Counsel was set for July 6, at 7 P.M. in the Selectmen's Office with Committee designated to appoint Counsel. Members will be so notified and ad for applicants placed in Tribune on June 17-21. Applications received until June 28, at 4:30 p.m. Application received from Arnold Salisbury, present Town Counsel. M~ORA. N'~JM OT' AGREEMENT: authorized Chairman to sign above-named for the Merrimack VaLley Home Care Center. LICenSING COMMISSIONERS: Approved: Applications to store 1020 gals. gasoline and 20,180 gals. #2 Fuel Oil on Sutton St. for Gr. Law. ~aste Treatment Plant. Application to store 5,000 gals, gas. on Charles St. for Solid l~aste Treatment Plant, set for hearing, 6/2.1/76. Application to store gasoline and propane gas underground at Nass. Electric~set for hearing 6/21/76 Approved: 1-day beer license for N.A. ~oper,s Association, 6/1_3, at Town Farm Picnic area. Disapproved: 1-day beer license, V~Y. at Drummond's Playground, June 26. Approved: Wine & Malt beverage license fo~ Richdale Food Store, repairs completed. Hearing set(not public) Maggie's Place- June 21, 1976, at 7:15 P.M. upon request of Dept. of Corporations and Taxation. Letter f~om latter states delinquency in payment of. taxes.
