Mr. Coady stated that he had tried to contact Currier on 3 separte occasions but Currier had not called him hack. After much discussion, the Board agreed to have Briam set up meeting with Engineers, Selectmen and firefighters on December 9, 1976. Alice M. The minutes and warrant were approved as submitted. GASOLINE BIDS: There were no bids received and the Selectmen voted to have Gulf Oil Co. continua supplying the Town Depts. with gasoline as they have done so in the past three years. Letter to be written to Gulf Oil Co. JUROR: John Nartone, 27 Sawyer Rd., was chosen to serve at Superior Crimirm/ Cour~ in Salem on Jan. 3, 1977. RESIGNATION: Letter of resignation was received from Leo E. Lafond, as a member of the Conservation Commission. The Board accepted his resignation with regret and voted to send a letter of thanks and appre- ciation for his efforts on the Commission during the past 13 years. CAREN EXITS: 'Letter from Chief Lawlor stated that he 'had no objection to Ca,on painting Exit signs in front · of his driveways. RECEIVED: Copy of letter to Personnel Board re raise from Sealer of Weights & Neasures. Copy of Certificate of Appointment of Anna P. O'Connor, State Member on N.A. Housing Authority. Board voted to send her a letter of cengratualtions. Nemor from Brian Sullivan re Title II payments. Town will receive two more quarterly payments. Nemorandum on Flood Insurance. Referred to Planning Board. Notice from Housing and Urban Development re application period for Sec. 8 E'./sting Program. Referred to Brian S. Notices of meetings. PEP~ONNEL BOARD: Selectmen received letter from Personnel Board stating that they had no cooperation whatsoever from Fire Chief Daw. He would not submit any records of the firemen. The Selectmen voted to the matter when meeting with the fire engineers on firef.~ghters grievances on Thursday. ~.E.SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE: Letter received from above-uamed committee. Board voted to have Brian S. sehd letter with a bid from North Andover to have the Solid Waste ~ Regional Landfill located in North Andover. FUEL OIL BID: The Selectmen awarded the contract to supply fuel oil to town buildings to Cyr Oil Co., Law., Mass. Cyr was the lowest, local bidder submitted. Sexwice to begin December 13, 1976. REGISTRA: Board stated that they should meet with the Board of Registras sometime in January to discuss TRANSIT AUTHORITY: The Board voted to appoint Brian Sullivan, an Alternate Member to the Merrimack Vslley Regional Transit Authority with full voting authority in the absence of regular member, Jack Coady.
