He will contact Board of Trade President, Anna O'Connor, who has in- dicated the Board of Trade's interest in having one of their members on the Housing Com- mittee. COMPLAIN~: J. Michael Oarvey appeared before the Board and claimed s.lleged discriminatory treatment he received from the Board of Health and Building Inspector in connection with a request for a permit for a septic tank on his property on Johnson Street. He claimed two neighbor s were given permits while he was refused although circumstances were identical. Chairman Guthrie instructed Mr. Garvey to phone the Administrative Assistant, give him the names of the two neighbors, and the Board would write the Building Inspector for an explanation. TOWN INSURANCE: Members of the Town Insurance Advisory Committee, Blue Cross-Blue Shield representative, Kenneth Boig ~rd the Selectmen discussed additional coverage available to town employees at an increase in premium. Lack of communication between employees with claims and in- surance representatives was noted, resulting in Mr. Doig promising better relations in the future. The Board voted to ~pprove the contract for the year commencing November 1, 1972 at the current level of coverage, and requested the Insurance Committee to make the recommendation to the Board by October 30 regarding the five items of increased coverages. NOR2HGATE CONSTRUCTION CORP.: The Board approved payment of the Execution in favor of North gate Construction Corporation in the amount of $57,148.09. The Board took this action on advice of Special Counsel, Atty. Elias with approval of the School Building Committee and the Director of Accouqts. Alice M. Letarte, Secretary OCTOBER 2 1972 - ~ ~ ~ ~zer~ The Board of Selectmen held their regular meeting on this date with all members present; Selectmen Kirk and Duffy, Jr. with Chairman Guthrie presiding. POLE iDCATIO~: A hearing was held on a petition to locate 4 poles on Dale Street. An abutter, Larry Cadigan, 100 Dale Street, was present an objected to the number of poles already install- ed on the street and was in strong favor to install the 4 poles, underground. The Board advised the electric company representative to present a report of the situation to them at their next meeting, October 16, re Mr. Cadigan's complaint. The petition was tabled until that time. .- BURIED CABLE: A hearing was set for October 16, 1972, at 7:30 p.m. on a petition to install buried cable .oand ducts on Sutton Street and Charles Street. POLE REMOVAL: The Board approved a petition to remove 1 pole on Great Pond Road. GAS EXCAVATIONS: The Board approved ~3' gas excavation petitions to install gas services on Salem Street, Brantwood Circle and Chickering Road. TOWN INSURANCE: A meeting on town insurance was tabled until October 16, when members of the Board, members of the Insurance Advisory Committee and a representative from the Blue Cross-Blue Shield will be present to discuss insurance for town employees.
