LICEFSING COMMISSIONERS: Hearing: * 8 P.N. - Application for transfer of license of The Barn Door, Inc. Glowers, Nanager to Daniel Lynch, Manager. Letters from Board of Health and Bldg. Ins. stating there was a sewer dreinage problem and would have to be corrected before transfer of license. There was also a question of m~ber's age on Bal. of Director's. Birth cert- ificate required. Application tabled until February 2, 1976. Hearing: 8:30 P.M. - Application for transfer of Restaurant, ALI Alcoholic license of Winston's d/b/a James J. Winston to Henry J. Fary, d/b/a. Premises burned down but Er, Fary would like assurance of license before he undertook expense of rebuilding. After discussion, ~oard voted to refer to Town Counsel their right to hold license until premises rebuilt. Application tabled until February 2, 1976. '~2ice N. NcEvoy with Chairing- Joseph A. Guthrie, 'presiding. The minutes and warrant were submitted and approved. POLE IOCATIONS: Petition approved on pole locations on Ingalls Street. N~ ~0WN GARAGE: After an hour's meeting the Town Garage Committee appeared before the Board and stated it was the ~-~us vote of the C~mmittee to request the Board of Selectmen to accept as sustantiallY completed, the Town Garage subject to the approval of Town Co,,~el. Architect, Eric Brainard, had declared the ~,~ ding oo_~p!eted. Selectman Coady asked. Frank Gelinas if ax~ m~,her of the 0 o~..~ittee had any area of reservation. Gelinas replied that the on the punch list had been or w~11 he taken care of... that the principal item, the rust situation was under control. The Board voted to authorized O~-!rma,, Guthrie to take the necessary action to fUlftll the motion to accept the Town Garage. Formal acceptance will be on Feb. 4, 2t 3:30 P.M. ¢~z~.~ttee also requested the Board to vote the sum of $230. on approval of Change Order ~1 . So approved. NINI-BUS DKEVER: The Board appointed Francis Lawlor, 40 Belmont Street, to he the driver for the mini-bus to transport the town Senior citizenS. CAI~PAGNA CONPIAINT: Mr. and Mrs. Campagna appeared before the Board once again to complain about neighbor's shed not being taken down and protested time allowed to April 1, 1976 by the B,ildlng ~nsp. 0riginsl complaint was presence of pony in shed. Pony was removed Christmas Eve. Campagna complained that he, as a Tax-payer, shouldn't have to pay for a lawyer. (He was not told that he didn't have to hire a lawyer, that was his own action) Accused ~own of not pro- tecting taxpayers. Selectmen stated that they would ask Town Counsel if April 1st date, for removal of shed, could be rescinded but they told Campagna that Building Inspector. had Jurisdiction over zoning violations and that the April 1st date would stand.
